The Ns5 Metcote Etch Primer from Duram is built to grab onto metal surfaces and start the job right from the first coat. It self-etches and primes new or weathered metal, including mild steel, aluminium, PVC and fibreglass, to help ensure solid adhesion for your topcoat.
This 500 ml primer and undercoat is designed for maximum adhesion and can withstand heat up to 220°C. It dries quickly so you can move on to the next step without long waiting times, and it accepts topcoats readily when you need a durable finish that resists acid and alkali exposure. A practical choice for metalwork projects where a reliable, long lasting base matters.
